The Co-Packing Process

Getting started with Sandt’s Honey is streamlined and transparent. We guide you through every stage, from concept to the final sealed case.

Step 1: Initial Consultation

Contact us to receive our introduction packet. You will complete a brief questionnaire regarding your product needs. If required, we can execute a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) at this stage.

Step 2: Evaluation & Quote

Once we review your questionnaire, we will schedule a consultation to discuss ingredients, packaging, and procedures.

For developed products: You will provide samples and ingredient specifications for compatibility testing.
For new concepts: We will discuss recipe development and sourcing.
We will provide preliminary quotes for both test batches and initial production runs.

Step 3: Product Testing

We don’t guess; we test. Sandt’s will conduct a test batch (typically 20lbs) to ensure formula stability. We will create sample batches and send up to six bottles for your review and approval.

Step 4: Specifications & Lab Testing

Upon approval of the formula, we send the product to an accredited lab for NLEA (Nutrition Labeling and Education Act) testing. This generates your official Nutrition Facts panel. At this stage, we provide the final production quote.

Step 5: Labeling & Packaging

We review your finished label designs for compliance and machine compatibility. Once approved, labels are printed, and production is scheduled.

Step 6: Production

We receive your authorized ingredients and packaging supplies. Production begins, and upon final payment, your finished product is released for pickup or shipping.

Note: Timelines vary based on material sourcing and lab testing. The process from consultation to finished product typically takes 2 months to a year.
