Grilled Lemon Herb Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1/4 C finely chopped green onions
  • 1/4 C oil
  • 2 tsp grated lemon zest
  • 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 C Sandt’s Golden Honey
  • 3 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 Tbsp chopped fresh thyme leaves
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined, with shells on tails (21-25 count)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients except shrimp.
  2. Stir in shrimp. Cover and chill for at least 1 hour.
  3. Heat grill.
  4. Drain shrimp; thread on 2 skewers.
  5. Grill 5 to 7 minutes or until shrimp or opaque; turning once.
  6. Serve warm.
Shrimp may also be broiled.
  1. After draining, place on a broiler pan.
  2. Broil 4 inches from heat for 6 to 8 minutes or until shrimp are opaque; turning once.

For added tartness, add an additional Tbsp. of lemon juice and a dash of salt.
